WEB PAGE INPUT - WEB PAGE OUTPUT FAQ



A user will access this program from EPC Servers Web Page. The program will be accessed from a discipline menu. For example if your program is used to size an oriface plate in a piping system, the program would be found under the MECHANICAL discipline menu page.

The menu item specifies the price per usage for running the analysis. When the user clicks on your program link the input page is presented. The Input page consists of the following:

A check against our database that the user is logged in
A standard EPC Server Header and Footer
A Title
A brief overview of what the program does.
A graphic file if required to pictorially show inputs required
A form which the user uses to input required values
A selection box which the user can select a predeveloped calculation header
A submit analysis button to call the page which performs the analysis
A form validation script which makes sure all is data input and input correctly
An Alert Button which prompts the user on the fee for the analysis


After the user submits the data for analysis the analysis page contains the following

The output page shall be a new window, leaving the input window on the users screen
The data is aquired and output variables are calculated in an ASP server
The output document first prints the user selected header or if none is selected the Standard EPC header is presented
A Title is included
A graphic file if required to pictorially show inputs required
Inputs are shown
Calculational Methods, Formulas, and/or references are shown.
OutPut is presented
No standard footer is applied

The title of your program
A brief description of what it does
A graphic used for identifying input
A List of your input variables, what the prompts should say for each input
The methods (equations or process) used to calculate outputs
The name of outputs
The price for accessing your program.
