Input your factored MU in inch lbs and the span of the beam in inches. Other fields may be Adjusted if required. The analysis uses a minimum beam width of 6" and always considers at least two reinforcing bars. The analysis considers that the beam's width to height ratio is never less than 1 for good design practice.

formal estimates. Values may be changed if desired.
