EQUIVALENT WALL THICKNESS FOR GROUTED MASONRY UNITS

The equivalent thickness for masonry walls with hollow units and varying grouted cell spacings are as shown in the following table. All dimensions are in inches. These values are to be used for computing compression and shear stresses parallel to the wall.
