REPAIR OF CONCRETE HONEYCOMB OR VOID



All loose and honeycomb material shall be removed by chipping.
The final surface shall be slightly undercut to provide a key for the patch. Feathered edges shall be avoided
Throughly wet and keep wet the surface of the concrete to be patched for 1 hour.
Apply a portland cement film on the repair surface. The portland cement shall be of the consistancy of thick paint
Develop a form system which permits placement from the top of the void with the form extending above the void by at least a few inches.
Place concrete, continously rodding to ensure a sound placement. The concrete shall be placed to extend above the void area.
Upon initial set, remove the form and chip excess concrete from the repaired surface.
Apply curing compound or keep wet for designated length of cure time
