COMPOSITE BEAM ANALYSIS

This program sizes a composite beam section. The program generates moments and shear values based on a simply supported beam. The analysis is performed for only A36 Steel.

Complete the following input to develop the analysis.

Input the slab span length in Feet (Span)
Input the beam spacing in feet
Input the slab thickness in inches
Input the Concrete Compressive Strength in ksi
Input the Live Load on the slab in Kips/ft2


If using formed steel deck complete the following. If no steel deck is used leave information blank.

Steel Deck runs perpendicular to the beam
Steel Deck runs parellel to the beam
Input the depth of the deck rib in inches
Input the width of the deck rib in inches
