REINFORCING BAR BUNDLING




Bundles Must be enclosed by ties or stirrups

Number 14 and Number 18 bars may not be bundled in beams or girders

Cut offs of individual bars in bundles must be staggered at least 40 bar diameters

For Spacing and cover, a unit of bundled bars shall be treated as a single bar with an equivalent Area of the bundled bar configuration

A maximum of 4 bars may be bundled
