Pump Cavitation Calculation

Input the Suction inside pipe diameter in inches
Input Pressure at water source (14.7 if Reservoir) in lb/in2
Input the elevation of the water source in feet
Input the elevation of the pump suction in feet
Input the velocity at the water source ( use 0 if reservoir) in feet/sec
Input the length of the suction line in feet
Input the roughness coefficient for suction line (typically .02 to .06)
Input minor loss coefficients for elbows and fittings - include 0.5 for suction line entrance
Input water Temperature (between 60oF and 350oF)
